gas milage
hey guys i finally figured out my fuel economy. i knew it was bad even for an 8cyl car but i didnt think it should be as bad as it is. i drive about 30 miles each way to work all highway with like 4 stop signs. i get 9 or 10 mpg. thats right on a good calm day i get 10. i figured she needs a tuneup but this is just horrible. i already put in a new fuel filter, air filter, and plugs but still no help. any suggestions. oh and the check engine light isnt even on. any suggestions? i keep it on cruise control the whole way at 55mph. no tools or junk in the car but my donut lug wrench and jack. i was thinking of putting my extra aluminum trans am wheels on figuring that may help reduce the rotating mass but not sure. please help.
