can some one tell me what i need to do to fix the code 1441 .i have a 1999 alero v6 3.4 L what is it and if i drive the car will it hurt any thing ?

1441 i believe is Evap system flow during non-purge...your gas cap could be leaking, possibly your evap vent valve is stuck...it should be ok to drive

As egak20 suggested , check your gas cap and see if it is tight . Tighten it till it clicks three times then drive the car for a few days , perhaps a week and see if the " engine light " goes off . If it does , you're good to go . If not , take to a certified mechanic and have it checked out . Good luck !
