Since my Aurora was totaled I've been driving around my old 88 Cutlass. I took the Alpine CD player I had in the Aurora out of it before it was taken away, and today I just put in my Cutlass. What a bitch! I've never had more trouble with anything car audio related. Not real sure what the problem was, just had a hard time with it.

Anyone else with a Cutlass experience similar problems when installing an aftermarket cd player?

I've been putting off the same project for my 67 Cutlass for too long now. Although, sometimes it's pretty cool to hear a Jimmy Hendrix song on my 37 year old AM radio... I start to feel like I'm back in the day

Since I would rather buy a ford than go into that fragile plastic dash, I'm thinking about a Secret Audio setup from Custom Autosound. Then I can hide the whole works under the passenger side seat and use the wireless remote to spin the tunes.

Now I can listen to Jimmy from a CD instead of an AM radio. :P

You should consider putting a CD player in the Glove Box. My boss has a a CD player in the glove box of his old Morris Minor and I think he has the same setup in his 48' Chevy. I've seen other setups thata re the same on the internet too.
