:D Ok folks if anyone is having trouble with there power window motors.heres a clue...REPLACE THEM.Now im going to give you some hints (i spent about four hours, with some common sense you can do it in 2.)OK now purchace the new motor,,,,,Napa $ 87.00, Vip $ 49.00 and Auto Zone...$39.00.ok no rocket scientist there.Slowly disconnect the panels on the door.a 2" broad knofe works well.be careful tho,and remember where all your screws go.Plus the plastic clips yull want to keep and put on the panel.Mine stayed on the door.lol.disconnect the power mirror assembly.Dont have to remove it.Now youll need to have a drill with some small bits.Only way to get the motor free from the module...my motor had 3 rivets that were connected to the assembly.but you have to drill the door panel to get at them .about a hole the size of a quarter,in 2 places, youll see what i mean..and youll need the hole to connect the motor to the assembly..screws are small,(i believe my motor was a Siemans)with lockingnuts.but you have to be careful, because there isnt much thread to get the nut on(i used a small power screw driver)with a little grease on my hand to keep the nut on my finger....(smart Hugh!!!???)once you have motor hand tight to the module assembly.turn key on and make sure window operates fully.(you dont have to disconnect the powerr window switch.just feed it thru the panel when you remove panel..ok if that works your home free(If it doesnt ummmmmmm)tighten things and your all set,,,hope this helps someone out.(1996 Cutlas Ciera,Drivers side window) B)
