Hi New to the forum. I have come across a 70 w-30 442 that has been parked for 10 + years. It was parked because of motor problems and never fixed. I have not seen the car but I have good info that it is real. The motor was swapped out before the current owner bought it and I don't know what the 455 was out of yet. Some rust from what I have heard. Everything else is original
Now the question I have is what is something like this worth. A non numbers matching car that doesn't run. Some body rust. I don't think the body is beyond hope but not great.
I know this is very vague. Maybe a best and worst case scenerio price would work.
Thanks

HI for some reason the 455 when not the standard engine supplied with the car adds some value. If not to far gone are definatly keepers. Good luck and keep us in the loop on the restoration.

There is a 70 olds 442 convertible on Ebay right now, the car on ebay appears to be in rough condition in need of a complete restoration, but I would think the car your talking about could be very valuable if it is a true 442 (Vehicle ID starting with a 344) especially if it is an actual w-30. Good luck

I will remember the 344 number. I don't doubt that it is real.
I have been doing alittle searching on the net and I saw a fairly decent 442 w-30 minus the original engine going for around $9000.
Hopefully I can arrange a visit for next weekend. I will take a digital camera and post some pics
