"Oldsmobile has been a great product for over 100 years. This would give us the luxury of more time to find something that could replace it."
So...if its been such a great product why be done with it?
 GM sometimes lemme tell ya <_<

I liked the way my friend said it: If it is not profitable and all of that, why are they holding on to the names and rights, trademarks and facilities and more? I honestly could not answer him. I will still say, something is up, and Oldsmobile will return to live and see another day. :D

When Olds disappears, what are dealers going to pick up in its place? Buick? Well, that perhaps was okay for the old Oldsmobile. How about Pontiac? That doesnt quite fit either.
I also wonder where Oldsmobile customers are going to go. This seems like a wide open opportunity for overseas brands. Especially rapidly-growing Hyundai (which now ranks on par with Oldsmobile for initial quality)

GM will get a huge reality check about this decision. They would hope Oldsmobile people would go to Buick oe Cadillac or Pontiac. What may happen is they may leave GM all together... GM will see in time about this decision. Oldsmobilw will return one day... :D
