ON AN OLDS CUTLASS CIERA SL 1989 MODEL
THERE IS A TINY BLUE LIGHT FIBER OPTIC JUST TO THE LEFT OF HEADLIGHT SWITCH..IT IS NOT ALWAYS ON..I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT IT IS FOR.THE SHOP MANUAL SHOWS IT WHERE IT DISCUSSES HEADLIGHT SWITCH REPLACEMENT,BUT NO WHERE DOES IT SHOW WHERE IT GOES

I have the same weird blue light also.. I originally thought it was there all the time but the more I look.. the more I notice it's only one here and there.. wtf is it?

I always thought that light was a cheap way to show where the headlight switch is when the lights are not on. I know that for the models sent to Canada they had a setup that the lights were on whenever the car's on, so they probably don't even have that little light. But mainly idk what's up with it..

you could always go to the library and get a book on the Oldsmobile Cutlass, it also could be a wedge bulb which can indicate if you are going forward, turning left etc.

The Light is supposed to always go on with the lights themselves, its really just an unnessacery "lights are on" indicator

I should have one of those on my 98. It's not on however
