Hi
I've been driving since 1965 and have owned a number of cars.
I do not like the newer computer controlled models and sold my Chrysler PT cruiser.
I now have 4 toronados and plan to own them forever being out of the car market from now on.
I have a 70 toronado GT
a 73 toronado brougham (18K miles) not restored just preserved it has been rained on twice in 33 years it has never been in snow
My daily driver is a 76 toronado brougham I have spent the last two years doing the resto work and it is ongoing
My wife drives the 80 toronado she won't drive my land yachts so I had to get her something slightly smaller. At least it's a 350

I own a 1993 88 LSS with 136,000 miles. This is my second Olds, my first was a 1979 Cutlass Supreme. I am definitely an Olds fan, and was one of the many that was sad to see Oldsmobile die. Such a shame. :(
Here is a pic of my current Olds along with my 1988 Mustang GT and my 1999 Ninja ZX-6R:

'94 Cutlass Supreme SL coupe w/ 98,xxx miles. Purchased new. Still looks great inside and out! People can't believe it's that old.

'99 Alero GLX coupe w/ 160,xxx (highway) miles. 2nd owner- purchased several months ago from a family member for next to nothing for my teenager to drive. It's not had the TLC my Cutlass has, but is a sharp car. I don't drive it often. The leather driver's seat is not in good shape, but other than that it's in decent shape. My daughter thinks it's a joy to drive compared to my '94.

1983 Olds Toronado

Mint,Mint,Mint
110,000 original miles
I am second owner.

17" 150 spokers with Vouge tires. (2 sets of blue Led's shine through spokes, 1 set strobes or breathes)

3 sets of under carriage led's (blue, 2 sets scan)

Strobes front and rear.

Interior lights up with blue led system (in AC vents also)

Euro headlights with H4 blue hue bulbs. (also incorporates a blue led actually in the head lamp activated with parking lights)

3 TV's and DVD player.(1 tv built into rear view mirror for the driver, 1 in glove compartment door and 1 drop down for rear passengers.

Voice activated navigation system.

Humoungus stereo system (puts out 3,200 watts)(sounds like carnagie hall)

Shaved doors. (door poppers activated with alarm remote)

Many other restorations as well, I been workin on this car for about 10 years now. Needless to say I'm proud of her.
I won a car show with her last summer. YEA!!!

I got 1 problem, after I added the 17" rims ocassionally she will bottom out at the wheel wells if I hit a big dip or bump. I am presently trying to figure out a way to raise her up about an inch or so without making the ride stiff. I have already added slightly bigger rear springs and raised the tortion bars up front.

Anyone have any ideas?

PS- I really gotta take some pics this summer when I break her outta my winter garage.

Mine is a 1965 442 sport coupe with a '67 425 out of a Delta 88.
Currently rebuilding the 425 now and trying to figure out my transmission options. Undergoing restoration right now. Originally white with the blue interior. Going to repaint her later on with the dark blue exterior. Car has been in the family since new(Grandfather bought it new) and I have owned her since '75 so i'm kinda sentimentally attached to her.
Can't wait to get her back on the road again. Really miss that Olds feeling!

Well, the only one I own is a 67 Cutlass Supreme 4-door; 330, 4bbl (does that make it the high-compression version?), posi, 2-speed auto (not sure if it's a powerglide or a jetaway).

My dad right now drives a 98 intrigue (I think it's a 98, don't remember for sure, brain farting right now), and he's also got an '81 Delta 88 that we'll be playing with soon.

What I actually drive every day is a Ford Escort Station Wagon, though. :) Not an olds by any stretch of the imagination, but it does pretty well for itself. I won't expand on it any more than that, since this is an Olds board. :)

In addition to the 77 Salon, just bought a 98 Bravada w/98,000 miles, green w/tan interior, sunroof, etc. B) Got a good deal on it (only $5400). I'm fixing the little things that were wrong when I bought it (front hub, brakes, etc.). I'm also changing all the fluids in it (transfer case, etc) to keep it running good. Also trying a K&N filter - so far, it seems to be making a difference in gas mileage :) . The whole family loves this truck, and it rides great! I've had a lot of good comments on this so far, including from a friend who, when he sat in it, said, "This interior beats the hell out of those crappy Blazers and GMC's!" BTW, he's an Olds nut, too! B)

I'll post some pics in the future.

This one has made its way all the way over the pond to England.

It was bought in Florida in 1988 by a guy who fell in love with it while on holiday. He had it shipped over to Southampton docks on the south coast of England later that year. He then owned the car right up until i bought if from him in April 04. It was garaged for most of the last couple of years, and had never been driven in the rain. He looked after it great.

Here it is, only mod i have done is to add some wire wheels.

I have two Oldsmobiles.

My wife drives a beautiful '92 88 Royale LS, with 66K miles. It is hard loaded.

My recent purchase is a '93 Supercharged Ninety Eight Touring Sedan. It sat for 3 years with a bad supercharger and I put it back on the road about two months ago. I love this Olds. It has 127K on it.

Circa 1970, my dad having recently totalled his Pontiac, asked me if I had any idea what he should buy next. Well, being 16, I wasn't interested in a big car, & the Cutlasses somehow stood out & caught my attention. I soon pointed them out ot my dad, & he gave me the go ahead to shop around. As it turned out, we purchased a '71 Supreme. In that car, we took several family vacations including Maine & Niagara Falls. Thatis the car I learned to drive in.
In '76, my dad realized he shouldn't renew his driving permit, so I was the proud recipient of this car.
I've owned a whole bunch of cars thruout the yrs, but this one is for keeps !!!

Two dark grey 85 Toros, one a brougham. Nearly all options are identical in both. I've driven Toros for over 25 years. Best cars I've ever owned, bar none. Both still in tip-top shape; both repainted to same original color. Call then "Toro 1" and "Toro 2". It is getting harder and harder to find replacement parts. Beautiful lines...charcoal with dark charcoal leather.. all options but sunroof and CD. High mileage but sweet running and relatively economical 3.8 litre.

Delighted with this car, bought used for $200 CDN, replaced ignition module for 25 bucks, wiper system for 60 bucks..no other problems. Some minor fiddly bits, but I have the service manual so looking forward to puttering this summer.

Not an Olds owner at the moment..... Right now I'm just the caretaker for my Sis's '75 Delta Convertable...

In teh past I've had a 77 Cutlass Supreme w/ a 403.. One heck of a runner but rust got the better of it..

I also had an 83 Delta 2 door w/ 307 originally but swapped the 403 from the Cutlass into it. Also another casulty of rust...

At the same time I hat the 83 Delta I had a Cutlass Ciera wagon with the 2.5... Such a dawg, but I coudl haul all sort of crazy stuff and go anywhere.. Put a half ton of coal in the back at one point... After rust got to it as well I kept for something to use around the property.. Worked well as a wood box, filled it so full a few times I could barely get in the thing to drive. I kept a sharpe in the car to put a hash mark on the dash everytime I had the car airborne.. (54 hashes) Went though some pretty deep mud with it too... Tough little bugger it was... The trans ultimately gave up on this one..

The last Olds I owned was an 85 Delta 88 Brougham... Loaded to the hilt, heavy duty suspension and cooling, posi rear with 3.2? gears... Flawless body at 95K.. The engine was overheated due to a bad thermostat so the 403 (god knows how many miles that engine had, but damn did it run!) got a new home yet again.. This one bit it when some dumbass in a rice rocket slammed the passenger side head on at 60mph at an intersection..

Being rather disgusted and adjusting to the crazy gas prices I opted for a diesel VW for now.. Currently on the seach for a Diesel Delta if there are still any left.. Figure it could make an interesting toy if nothing else...

I have a 1996 Aurora 4.0. My grandmother bought it new and drove it (very sparingly) until I recieved it three years ago. It's been a garage baby all it's life; I couldn't be happier with it. Currently sitting at 57K miles and still running strong.

Currently running a 1995 Olds 88 Royal with 88,000 miles on it. This car replaced my 200,000 mile 1992 Olds 88 Royal (you can see it behind the shed there). I bought that car from my grand dad for $300 when it had 100,000 miles on it. The now dead 92 has already donated a power steering pump for the 95 car and a door lock. I'm about to pull the deck lid and use it to replace the leaking and spray painted one on the 95.

Just bought an old'n '62 '98 for restification. Never noticed these cars before, more of a Chevy guy. My brother has been looking for an old long low T-Bird, but there aren't many around unmolested nowadays, so I'm gonna see if I can convert him over to GM styling. Went into an old dark barn on a whim yesterday, and came out an Olds fan\owner. Always liked the 72 Cutlass, but here in Canada the sheet metal didn't last very long.
Hope this beaut looks as good in the light as it does in the shadows.
At the very worst there are lots of nice parts on this car for anybody building one of these, I'll try to get some pics next week.

Chris.

I have owned several Cutlasses over the years. My first was a built 84 T=top runnin a SB 400 and 12 grand worth of work done. It pulled 649hp at the crank, Mounted to a Borg-Warner T4, B&G goldclaw Performer II Carb and a Torquer II intake. The damn engine had so much torque if I let off the Clutch at 3grand the car would blow the tops out of the car. Yes that is right I said clutch. I took the whole dash out of an 81 El Camino for the clutch brackets inside the car.

Now I am the prowd owner of an 88 Supreme that has sat for a few years.
